State and local COVID-19 update, Nov. 17, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 597 new cases, 6,918 active cases, 269 hospitalizations and 2,523 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 186,802 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that 8 new cases were reported and 11 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 39 active cases in the county. 1 person was hospitalized and none were discharged with 10 active hospitalizations. The county has had 65 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that it was notified of 4 new cases and 9 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 50 active cases in the county. The county had no new hospitalizations and none were discharged with 1 active hospitalization. It has had 27 deaths

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported 2 new cases and 3 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 13 active cases in the county and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, listed Wednesday 1 new case and no cases met the criteria to be considered recovered with 3 active cases on the reservation and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 12 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 3 active, 264 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 11 active, 756 total cases, 8 deaths.
