Havre Police Department

A 15-year-old and a 17-year-old were each issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation charge related to a 7:06 a.m. Friday report from Fifth Avenue that the caller's daughter had taken off during in the night and wasn't in her room.

Officers investigated a 2:09 p.m. Friday report from a Second Street Northeast caller that a silver Gand Prix has been stolen.

John Eric Stiffarm of Box Elder, 37, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and two Justice or City court warrants and on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and operating a vehicle with fictitious plates, and Emory Jay Lamere of Box Elder, 42, was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after a vehicle stop on First Street West.

Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 29, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller reported a man in a dark blue hat and coat fell into First Street Friday at 7:41 p.m.

Leeann Lynn Duran of Havre, 36, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants during a vehicle stop on Fourth Avenue Friday at 8:40 p.m.

Curtis Loring Stump of Box Elder, 37, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of children after a caller on Second Street Northeast reported a disturbance at 11:13 p.m. Saturday.

Nicole Rose Big Leggins of Havre, 37, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at a First Street establishment at 1:27 a.m. Sunday.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation after a 19th Street caller reported Sunday at 12:43 p.m. that their son had sneaked out during the previous night.

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation charge after a 1:29 p.m. caller on Eighth Street reported a juvenile granddaughter hadn't returned home.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation charge after a First Street caller reported at 1:03 a.m. today that their daughter hadn't returned home.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a burglary reported at 9:15 a.m. Friday on First Street North.

A car theft was reported by a caller on First Street in Hingham Friday at 2:18 p.m.

Richard Lawrence Morsette Jr. of Box Elder, 38, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, and Rebecca Ann Fowler of Great Falls, 46, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft, forgery or fraud Friday at 5:37 p.m.

Crystal Marie Parker of Havre, 31, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Sunday at 4:12 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to seven calls Friday, four calls Saturday, four calls Sunday and one call early this morning, with four of the ambulance calls accompanying a fire crew.

A fire crew responded Friday at 2:33 p.m. to a report of a gas odor at a facility on the 10 Block of Second Street West, but no gas odor was detected and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy.

Firefighters responded to a Friday 9:10 p.m. report of a chemical smell on the 600 Block of 16th Street, but the only smell detected was a wood burning stove.

Firefighters were called to the 400 Block of Second Street Saturday at 7:34 p.m. where an unauthorized fire was started to burn a stump that was within 6 feet of a commercial building. The fire also had spread to leaves on the ground, but that was put out by the time the fire crew arrived.

Firefighters responded to a 12:09 p.m. Sunday fire alarm at a multi-family dwelling on the 1200 Block of 10th Street West. No smoke or fire was detected.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held six female cats, four male cats, one male 14-week-old kitten, two female and one male six-month-old kittens, and a female 20-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male shepherd, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male pit bull, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 22-week-old Labrador retriever puppy, a female 22-week-old border collie-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler puppy and a male mixed-breed dog. Also, a male and a female 13-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
