Harlem schools closed due to possible threat

Harlem Public Schools announced in a Facebook post this afternoon that it was closing the schools early to allow law enforcement to investigate a possible threat.

The post said junior and senior high school buses would load at 1:45 p.m. and the elementary school buses would load at 1:55 p.m.

"We are sorry for any inconvenience and will inform the public of the outcome of the investigation when it is available," the post said.
