State and local COVID-19 update, Nov. 9, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,136 new cases, 8,004 active cases, 364 hospitalizations and 2,437 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 182,468 cases.

Blaine County, reported on the state update this morning, had 4 new cases, 56 active. The state data did not match previous health department listings for total number of cases, listed last Wednesday at 1,427 with cases added since then. Blaine County has had 27 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening that 42 new cases were reported Friday through Monday, 66 active, 10 active hospitalizations, 3,397 total cases, 64 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Monday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 10 new cases, 24 active, no active hospitalizations, 1,145 total cases. It has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 3 new cases, 30 active, no active hospitalizations, 773 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 4 active, 263 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 20 active, 742 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
