Colter Ball, Fort Benton Football

The Fort Benton Longhorns are on their way to the next round of the Class C 8-Man playoffs, and in a 42-22 win over Plentywood last Saturday, Colter Ball had a big day. Ball scored on a 10-yard run, then he returned an interception for a touchdown on defense. Later, Ball sealed the game for the Longhorns with a 25-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to propel Fort Benton into the quarterfinals.

Emerson Giese, Fort Benton Volleyball

Emerson Giese is having a big season on the volleyball court. And she's not done yet. At last weekend's District 7C tournament in Chinook, Giese tallied a whopping 24 kills in a third-place match win over Chinook. She also averaged nine kills per match as Fort Benton took second to Geraldine-Highwood and once again advanced to the Northern C. Giese is also an All-Conference basketball player.
