State and local COVID-19 update, Oct. 29, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map by printing deadline this morning was last updated Thursday. At that time, the state reported 998 new cases, 11,202 active cases, 454 hospitalizations and 2,329 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 715,070 cases.

Blaine County, reported on the state update Thursday morning, had at that time 1 new case. The last Blaine County Health Department update Tuesday evening reported 70 active cases and 26 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Thursday evening that 12 new cases were reported, 82 active, 13 active hospitalizations, 3,292 total cases, 60 deaths.

Rocky Boy, reported Thursday evening, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 4 new cases, 31 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 1,155 total cases. It has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap, reported Thursday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 2 new cases, 25 active, no active hospitalizations, 734 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update Thursday morning, had at that time no new cases, 8 active, 259 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update Thursday morning, had at that time 2 new cases, 18 active, 689 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
