Havre Police Department

Officers assisted with an ambulance call on Fifth Street at 10:48 a.m. Wednesday.

A caller reported Wednesday at 10:51 a.m. that someone broke into a Fourth Avenue residence and took some jewelry.

Brandy Michell Stidham of Havre, 24, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on First Street Northeast Wednesday at 4:05 p.m.

A caller reported a two-vehicle crash in which a truck rear-ended a car on Fifth Avenue Wednesday at 4:58 p.m.

--

A 17th Street caller reported Wednesday at 9 p.m. that yard decorations had been vandalized.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a disturbance on First Street Northwest in Box Elder where a caller reported Wednesday at 7:59 p.m. that a man broke a door and a laptop and refused to leave.

Montana Highway Patrol

Trooper Matt Erickson said he was dispatched Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. to a one-vehicle rollover at mile marker 16 on State Highway 241. The juvenile driver of a Dodge Durango lost control after taking a corner too fast. The driver suffered minor injuries that were checked medically later, but the two passengers were unhurt.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Wednesday, two accompanying fire fighters.

Fire fighters responded to two calls Wednesday, the first at 5:01 p.m. on the 800 Block of Fifth Avenue to provide fire suppression and extrication if needed at a traffic accident, as well as assist with traffic control. The second call was at 7:45 p.m. on the 200 Block of 10th Street to investigate a report of a gas odor. No odor was detected and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held five cats and five kittens of varying ages all of unknown gender, three female cats, two male cats, a female and a male 25-week-old kittens, one female 18-week-old kitten, two female 10-week-old kittens and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male shepherd dog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 21-week-old mixed-breed dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a male Labrador retriever dog and a male border collie-German shepherd dog. Also, a male and a female 10-week-old mixed-breed puppies and a female mixed-breed dog were being held separately.
