Last week was a big one in the District 7C, as teams jockey for seeding in the final week of the regular season.
Last Thursday saw Chinook sweep Box Elder by scores of 25-5, 25-6 and 25-7, led by Bree Swanson. Meanwhile Rivals swept North Star by scores of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-14, while Chester-Joplin-Inverness beat Hays-Lodge Pole twice, each match being three-game sweeps.
Friday night, Big Sandy got a big win over Centerville, by scores of 16-25, 25-23, 25-17 and 25-15.
The top two teams in the conference were also victorious, as Fort Benton swept North Star by scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 25-19, while Geraldine-Highwood outlasted Chinook in a thriller, by scores of 22-25, 25-23, 16-25, 25-20 and 15-11.
Saturday night, CJI made it a perfect weekend as the Hawks swept Big Sandy by scores of 25-11, 26-24 and 25-20, while North Star bounced back to beat Box Elder by scores of 25-8, 25-7 and 25-7.
In Class B action this past week, Rocky Boy fell to Fairfield, while Harlem fell to Wolf Point. The 2021 regular season ends this weekend.
