Hello, God. It's me, Mara.

The joy of living

The joy of living beautiful is special every day; what turns our "crank" this Autumn time? Kids say, "Let's play with clay!"

We've families, feasts, flowers, and friends - that makes this month real great. We'll party some - you wanna come? Just call - we'll set a date.

Some folks were bragging 'bout their trips, 'bout sailing and sunset. They saw a lot and loved it all, had traveled there by jet.

Some waterfalls, the neighbors saw, loved Rainbows overhead; vacation time was real special - they loved toasted Brown Bread. Then back at school as a "helper"; kids shared about picnic. They told about the fun they had and swimming in near creek.

One young lad shared that he and Gramps spent time in Grandpa's woods. The city boy enjoyed helping Grandpa cut firewood. One small girl shared how glad she was, not having to do chores. Her friends all laughed when she told them, she hated mopping floors. One little girl expressed fondness of cousins and babies. Now that for sure brought on some smiles, though some thought she did tease.

Well - summer had some circuses, concerts and movies, too. What fun most had with families, to do what they did do.

Then one young lad mentioned "ocean" - he got to sail across - to see his aunt and family, and saw an albatross!

The holidays this summer time was filled clear to the brim! Dinners and games, or you "name it," brought smiles to Jim and Kim.

Autumn is here, dawn rises late! Full moon was really bright! Venus showed up quite big and white. This autumn's a delight!

Living's a joy - never lose heart(1), be renewed day by day. Our Father loves each one of us, so let's not waste away.

Love, Mara

(1) 2 Corinthians 4:16 "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away yet inwardly we are being renewed, day by day."
