Cattle cross Beaver Creek Highway Monday in Beaver Creek Park. Drivers are warned that from Labor Day to the first of the year, depending on grazing conditions, cattle are on the park and drivers need to slow down and use caution to avoid car-cow crashes. Several crashes have happened so far this fall, the most recent Friday, apparently with injuries to people in the vehicle. Montana HIghway Patrol has not responded to requests for details on that crash. The night-time speed limit on the park during grazing season is 35 mph. The daytime speed limit in the park is 55 mph to Taylor Road and 45 mph past Taylor Road, and people are warned to slow down on curves and hills, especially at night, and to watch for cattle on the highway.
