Hailey Huestis is a Havre High School student of the month for September 2021.
She is the daughter of Dusty and Patty Huestis and has one sibling, David. Hailey is a sophomore and is employed by Bow and Marrow and as a babysitter.
Nicole Cornelius, who nominated Hailey, says she is "an outstanding student. She works hard and goes above and beyond daily. She never lets her disability slow her down. She gets along with everyone, and she is willing to get help or help others. She is absolutely outstanding and every teacher's dream. She exemplifies a Havre High student. I see great things from this student. What a joy."
In the future, Hailey plans to keep working hard.
Gavin Hall is the other Havre High School Student of the Month for September 2021.
He is the son of Julie Schweigert and Winston Hall and has three siblings, Chase, Aitana and Elly.
Gavin is a junior who is active in Key Club and tennis. He is employed by Cottonwood Cinema.
Tyler Kropf, who nominated Gavin, said "Gavin is a pleasure to have in the auto shop. Not only does he have good grades and attendance, but he shows enthusiasm for the subject. I believe that ... Gavin is excited about school and life. Either way, I appreciate his positive attitude and participation in class. I hope to see Gavin continue to take shop classes. His enthusiasm is contagious."
In his free time, Gavin enjoys sports and automotive projects.
After graduation, he plans to attend the University of Montana.
