State and local COVID-19 update, Oct. 7, 2021

Hill County Health Department reports another COVID-19-related death, bringing the county total to 55. The department also reported Wednesday evening that 40 new cases were reported, 203 active, 11 active hospitalizations, 3,019 total cases.

Rocky Boy reported Wednesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 4 new cases, 66 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 1,016 total cases. It has had 9 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department reported Wednesday evening being notified of 18 new cases, 136 active, 6 active hospitalizations, 1,235 total cases, 24 deaths.

Fort Belknap, reported Wednesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 7 new cases, 59 active, 3 active hospitalizations, 648 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 24 active, 243 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 16 active, 631 total cases, 8 deaths.

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,301 new cases, 11,808 active cases, 465 hospitalizations and 2,070 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 157,372 cases.

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
