State and local COVID-19 update, Oct. 1, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map was not updated by printing deadline this morning.

Blaine County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of 17 new cases, 94 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 1,154 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Thursday evening that 30 new cases were reported, 160 active, 10 active hospitalizations, 2,893 total cases, 53 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Thursday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 15 new cases, 67 active, 4 active hospitalizations, 1,058 total cases. It has had 9 deaths.

Fort Belknap, latest data not available.

Liberty County, latest data not available.

Chouteau County, latest data not available.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
