Havre Police Department

A caller in the alley between Fourth and Fifth Avenues reported Thursday at 3:56 p.m. finding a wallet and some vandalism on a garage.

Officers investigated a minor two-vehicle crash on First Street reported Thursday at 5:36 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Owen Bryce Kaupang of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on a charge of dog running at large after a caller on Fifth Street North reported a dog in the yard Thursday at 12:48 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded Thursday to a report of a gas odor on Ninth Avenue.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and eight kittens of varying ages all of unknown gender, two female cats, two female 22-week-old kittens, one male cat, one male 12-week-old kitten, one male 23-week-old kitten and a female 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three female and one male 11-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female mixed-breed dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 21-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male husky dog.

Births

A girl was born Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, to Ruth and Joe Waldner of Havre.
