State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 29, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,332 new cases, 11,981 active cases, 418 hospitalizations and 2,001 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 149,824 cases.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of 30 new cases from Friday through Tuesday with 95 active cases, no active hospitalizations listed, 1,137 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Tuesday evening that 19 new cases were reported, 137 active, 9 active hospitalizations, 2,841 total cases, 53 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Tuesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill county numbers, 3 new cases, 56 active, 4 active hospitalizations, 1,036 total cases. It has had 9 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips county numbers, 5 new cases, 29 active, no active hospitalizations, 629 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 37 active, 226 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County reported on the state update this morning, had 9 new cases, 28 active, 612 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
