Havre Police Department

An arrest was made related to a 10:04 a.m. Tuesday report from a Second Street business that a man who had been stealing had returned and an 11:16 a.m. request from someone at the business to speak with an officer. No details on the charges were provided.

Tuesday at 10:41 a.m. a caller on Third Avenue reported some items had been stolen.

Donald Joseph Smith of Rudyard, 60, was issued a summons on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and expired vehicle registration after a vehicle stop on Montana Avenue Tuesday at 2:19 p.m.

A summons was issued on a charge of underage tobacco or consumption after caller reported a juvenile with a vape pod in Havre Middle School Tuesday at 2:34 p.m.

A bike was reported found on First Avenue Tuesday at 7:11 p.m.

A caller at the hospital reported a cat bite Tuesday at 10:52 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Tuesday at 1:18 p.m. a caller on County Road 180 North reported vandalism.

Angela Ellen Childs of Havre, 49, and Sidney Aleczander Moffitt of Havre, 18, were each issued a summons on a charge of dog running at large after a caller on 38th Street Southeast reported a complaint Tuesday at 2:36 p.m.

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held eight kittens of varying ages and two cats all of unknown gender, two female cats, two female 22-week-old kittens, one male cat, one male 12-week-old kitten, one male 23-week-old kitten and a female 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three female and one male 11-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female mixed-breed dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 10-week-old mixed breed puppy, a male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 20-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male husky dog.
