Corey Jerald Balcktongue of Havre, 24, was arrested on Charges of DUI, driving without a valid driver's license and driving without vehicle insurance, after a caller on 82nd Avenue West reported suspicious activity Friday at 4:59 p.m. and deputies made a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 West at 5:05 p.m.

Donelle Audrey St. Pierre of Box Elder, 40, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft at 6:40 p.m. Friday.

Sheriff Jaimeson Ross said deputies responded to a 7:03 a.m. Saturday request from Rocky Boy Police Department to assist with a vehicle chase that had entered the county from the reservation. The chase involved a man not enrolled with the tribe who was a suspect in an assault. All the reports had not been filed Ross said, but jail intake records showed that Moses Zamora was being held on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon, attempted homicide and possession of dangerous drugs, and this morning's jail roster included an FBI warrant. Ross said he suspected the FBI would be taking over the case and filing charges.

A Saturday 6:59 p.m. call from East End Colony asking to help in some way with the train derailment near Joplin was referred to Liberty County.

Finn Hawthorn Kuhlman of Florence, 19, and Keelin Steward Humble of Sherwood, Oregon, were each issued a summons on a minor in possession charge after deputies were asked to assist Rocky Boy Police at 8:05 p.m. Sunday.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to 12 calls Friday, eight calls Saturday and six calls Sunday, and responded in mutual aid to the train derailment near Joplin Saturday.

Friday, firefighters responded at 3:52 p.m. to a motor vehicle crash at Second Street and 15th Avenue in case of fire and to an 8:42 p.m. fire alarm on the 1300 Block of Jefferson Avenue that turned out to be a false alarm.

Saturday, firefighters responded to the 700 Block of First Street West at 12:51 p.m. that turned out to be a false alarm, and responded at 3 p.m. to a semitractor-trailer rollover on the 4000 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West, where one person was transported to the hospital.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held 15 kittens of varying ages and two cats all of unknown gender, three female cats, one male 12-week-old kitten, one male cat and a female 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three female and one male 11-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female mixed-breed dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 9-week-old mixed breed puppy, a male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 20-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male husky dog.
