Havre Police Department

The only entry in the police dispatch report is a high-speed pursuit which started Thursday at 1:13 p.m. and is detailed in a page 1 story today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Teresa Angel Jiron of Havre, 26, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served on 11th Avenue Thursday at 10:55 a.m.

Deputies were called to assist with a vehicle chase in the Havre and Hill County area at 1:12 p.m.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported on Shepherd Road North at 4:09 p.m.

--

Deputies were called Thursday at 10:03 p.m. to assist Montana Highway Patrol and Havre Fire Department at a motorcycle crash at Old Post Road and U.S. Highway 87.

Jasmin Shay Demontiney of Box Elder, 25, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on U.S. Highway 87 reported someone was banging on their door.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Thursday, with three of the calls accompanying fire trucks.

Firefighters responded to three calls Thursday. The first call was to an alarm on Montana Avenue at 10:42 a.m., but firefighters were turned back en route. The second call was to a fire alarm on Fourth Street at 3:45 p.m., but that turned out to be a malfunctioning alarm.

The third call was to a motorcycle crash at Old Post Road and U.S. Highway 87 for standby in case of fire. No fire was needed, but the ambulance transported a patient to the hospital.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held 16 kittens of varying ages and four cats all of unknown gender, three female cats, two male 11-week-old kittens and a female 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three female and one male 10-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a male catahoula leopard dog, a female 9-week-old mixed breed puppy, a male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 20-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male shepherd dog, a male 10-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male husky dog.
