State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 21, 2021

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening another COVID-19 related death in the county, 63 new cases were reported Saturday through Monday, the county had 136 active cases, 7 active hospitalizations, 2,678 total cases, 51 total deaths from the start of the pandemic.

Blaine County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of 7 new cases from Saturday through Monday, 77 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 1,079 total cases, 24 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Monday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill county numbers, 7 new cases, 44 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 990 total cases. It has reported 8 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips county numbers, 3 new cases over the weekend through Monday, 26 active, no active hospitalizations, 599 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County Public Health reported Monday 34 active cases. The state tracking map reported this morning 12 new cases, 199 total, 1 death.

Chouteau County reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 16 active, 575 total cases, 7 deaths.

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,181 new cases, 9,976 active cases, 377 hospitalizations and 1,901 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 142,513 cases.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
