Margaret R. Piapot, 73, passed away due to natural causes on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Benefis Eastview Senior Care.
Wake services will begin at 3:00 p.m. today, September 17, 2021, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, all at the Living Water Church in Rocky Boy. Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.
Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Margaret was born December 22, 1947, in Fort Belknap to Irving and Dora (Thinker) Flying. She was raised in Lodge Pole, attending school there. In 1965, Margaret married Algie Piapot, and the couple had six children. Over the years, they lived in Havre, Harlem, Missoula, and Rocky Boy. While in Missoula, and while her children were in junior high and high school, Margaret took some classes at the University of Montana.
Margaret was a loving woman of faith, who served her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, all of her life. She raised her children in the church, and prayed for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandson every day. She enjoyed reading, watching cooking shows, garage sales, crossword puzzles, beading, sewing, and cooking. She adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and she raised several of her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Algie Piapot; parents, Irving and Dora Flying; son Jerod Piapot, grandsons Jaron Stump and Jacob Berry, and sisters Olivia Stump, Myrna Cochran and Eileen Flying.
Margaret is survived by her children Andrea Brisbo of Great Falls, Wanda Piapot of Madras, OR, Crystal Michel of Great Falls, Duane (Joyce) Piapot of Harlem, Darnell Piapot and Christie (Francisco Rojas) Stump, all of Havre, Holly (Trevor) Oats and Jacinda (Jacob Burns) Four Colors, all of Box Elder, and Jalen and Micah Piapot, both of Havre; 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, Remington Oats; brother, Duane Flying of Fort Belknap; sister Roberta Big Knife of Rocky Boy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
