From Montana State University-Northern
Last Saturday morning, Sept. 11, Montana State University-Northern conducted its annual campus clean-up event. It was part of the community-wide Havre clean-up days.
This year enjoyed an excellent turnout from students, faculty, staff, and administration. It was especially exciting to see the high number of faculty who participated, especially Jack Bieger and Kevin Holzworth, who encouraged their students to attend.
Northern helped to clean the perimeter of campus, Fifth Avenue, and the north side of the 13th street hill. After picking up the garbage along those streets, the participants enjoyed cinnamon rolls from Grateful Bread and coffee. All participants received at free T-shirt.
