Hill County Sheriff's Office
Winona Ida Lamere of Box Elder, 57, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and trespass to property after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft Wednesday at 5:12 p.m.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held a 6-month-old kitten, a 7-month-old kitten and one 13-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, three female cats, a male 13-week-old kitten, a female 10-week-old kitten and a male cat. A male 17-week-old kitten and a male 18-week-old kitten were being held separately but are also available for adoption.

The shelter also held a male catahoula leopard dog, a female 16-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male shepherd dog, a male husky dog and a female 12-week-old mixed-breed puppy. Being held separately were a female and a male 6-week-old puppies, a male 7-month-old puppy and a 21-week-old female puppy, all of mixed breeding.
