Caleb Spangler, Havre High Golf

Havre High senior Caleb Spangler helped the Blue Pony tennis team win a state championship last spring. Now, he's got his last year of high school golf off to a hot start. Spangler won the Havre Invite back on Aug. 19, and on Tuesday, he shot a career-best 76, while defeating a top player from Park at the Jawbone Creek Classic in Harlowtown. Spangler is an All-Conference golfer who also plays basketball and tennis for the Ponies.

Hallie Neibauer, Chinook Volleyball

The Chinook volleyball team got off to a strong start last weekend. And one reason why is the play of sophomore Hallie Neibauer. The standout Sugarbeeters was all over the court in Chinook's District 7C win over Big Sandy last Friday, and she kept it up with more stats in a Saturday match against Geraldine-Highwood. Neibauer is in her second season of Chinook volleyball. She was also an All-Conference basketball player for the Beeters.
