Havre Police Department

Officers issued a summons to Lana Standing Chief of Havre, 40, on a charge of criminal contempt for missing a 24/7 sobriety program appointment at n 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers investigated a report of theft, forgery or fraud reported from a business on the 700 Block of First Street at 4:39 p.m. Tuesday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Lisa Ann Stump of Box Elder, 50, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 10:17 a.m.

Tasheena Cree Lewis of Hays, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 11:07 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday.

Firefighters responded at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a gas odor on the 900 Block of First Avenue. A small gas reading was detected at an appliance and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 9-week-old kittens, two 15-week-old kittens, a 6-month-old kitten and one 11-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, three female cats, three male 18-week-old kittens and two male cats. A male 15-week-old kitten and a male 17-week-old kitten were being held separately but are also available for adoption.

The shelter also held one female and one male 11-week-old puppies, a female Doberman pinscher dog, a male Labrador retriever dog, a female pit bull terrier dog, a male catahoula leopard dog, a female 15-week-old puppy, a female Australian shepherd dog, a male husky dog and a female shar pei dog.
