Local Golf Report:

The sun is setting on another summer, and with that, another league golf season.

Playoffs at both Prairie Farms and Beaver Creek Golf Courses are in their final stages.

At Prairie farms, BA Ranch, Michelob Light, HUB Insurance and Master Sports all won twice to reach tonight's semifinals. The winner's of matches between BA and Michelob and HUB and Master Sports will move on to the 18-hole, men's league championship match.

The ladies league at Prairie Farms has also reached the championship round. In last week's semifinals, Prairie Farms defeated D.A. Davidson and Patrick Construction took down Tilleman Motors. The two teams will meet in Thursday night's league championship finale.

And at BCGC, men's league has reached the second week of the men's league playoffs.

A reminder all leagues wrapping up, please share with me pictures of the first and second-place teams.

Speaking of Prairie Farms and BCGC, I want to say a thank you to both courses for helping us put on a great Havre Invitational Golf Tournament last Thursday. Our kids were so proud to play on their home courses and I know all our visiting teams enjoyed the courses as well. So thanks to both courses. We couldn't have Havre High golf without your generosity.

Lastly, club championships are also coming soon. The Prairie Farms men's championship is this Sunday, followed by the women next week. BCGC hasn't set a date for its club chippers yet. Again, to all courses, please send me your club championship results.

There will be three weeks left of the From Tee to Green for this season.
