State and local COVID-19 update,

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 123,674 with 720 new cases, 3,899 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 239. The number of deaths was 1,768.

Blaine County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of 9 new cases from Saturday through Monday, 29 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 916 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening that 23 new cases were reported from Saturday through Monday, 82 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 2,203 total cases, 46 deaths.

Rocky Boy — reported Monday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 16 new cases, 54 active, 47 active on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, no active hospitalizations listed, 860 total cases. It has had 7 deaths.

Fort Belknap — reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 4 new cases, 13 active, 1 active hospitalization, 523 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 13 active, 147 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 3 active, 524 total cases, 7 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
