Larry Alan Sedahl died peacefully 7/10/21 at his home of complications from lymphoma.
Graveside services will be August 30, 9:30 at Highland Cemetery. Larry's family suggests donations may be made in his name to the Havre Dog Park or, as was one of Larry's goals this year, take a few minutes and handwrite a letter to someone.
Larry was born 7/12/1961 in Havre, MT, to Lorraine (Styer) Sedahl and Roy Sedahl.
He graduated from Havre High School in 1979, with many friends he stayed in touch with throughout the years. He loved all genres of music and was a member of Jazz Band, Pep Band & HiLiters. He was also a member of the gymnastics team and swim team. Larry regularly participated in Young Life and was a camp counselor as well.
Larry attended NMC and Eastern Montana College before moving to Denver, where he worked extensively in the food industry, most recently for The Club at Pradera as a bartender. For many years he worked tirelessly operating his own cleaning business, "Sterling Cleaning." Perhaps his favorite job was working as a tour guide for Globus. While he enjoyed doing tours, he absolutely loved the travel perks that came with this job.
Larry also lived in Palm Springs, CA, where he was a realtor, a job he decided was not for him.
Uncle Larry was the favorite uncle, treating his nieces and nephews to those gifts that parents would never buy. Larry was a friend to all and has been frequently described as having the kindest heart. Larry was also a master peanut brittle maker! Those who were fortunate enough to receive some for Christmas will certainly miss this treasured gift.
Larry was a free spirit - always up for a new adventure. He loved to travel and did a good job of traveling many parts of the world. He loved to see new places and try new things. Larry went sky diving, parasailing, zip lining, bungee jumping and whitewater rafting (with his nephew). He ran the Boulder Boulder several times. He attended countless concerts and loved attending the sunrise Easter Services at the Red Rocks.
Larry was a gracious host and loved making arrangements to entertain his company. He left each of us better for having him in our lives.
Larry was preceded in death by his two best four-legged friends Chase and Ellis; grandparents, Grant and Marie (Bates) Styer and Hensel and Fay (Holmen) Sedahl.
He is survived by parents Lorraine (Styer) Sedahl and Roy Sedahl; siblings, Carol (Bill) Lamey and Rick Sedahl; nieces and nephews, Chris Roman, Brandi (Ryan) Glibbery, Grant Roman, Joe Roman, Paige and Jacob Sedahl; great nieces and nephew, Alexxys, Iyla and Owen Glibbery, as well as extended family and many dear friends.
Condolences can be mailed to 1046 Boulevard Ave., Havre, MT 59501.
