State and local COVID-19 update, Aug. 16, 2021

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 119,864 with 352 new cases, 115,475 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 2,659. The number of deaths was 180.

Blaine County, reported on the state COVID-19 map update this morning, 2 new cases, 5 active, 855 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Thursday evening that 10 new cases were reported, 29 active, 1 active hospitalization, 2,043 total cases, 46 deaths.

Rocky Boy — Wednesday data reported Thursday evening, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 6 new cases, 8 active, 8 active on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, 1 active hospitalization, 808 total cases. It has had 7 deaths.

Fort Belknap, reported Thursday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, no new cases, 2 active, no active hospitalizations, 513 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 12 active, 134 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, none active, 520 total cases, 7 deaths.
