State and local COVID-19 update, Aug. 12, 2021

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 119,519 with 393 new cases, 2,516 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 179. The number of deaths was 1,729.

Blaine County Health Department reported Wednesday evening being notified of 5 new cases, 8 active, no active hospitalizations, 887 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Wednesday evening that 2 new cases were reported, 22 active, no active hospitalizations hospitalizations, 2,108 total cases, 46 deaths.

Rocky Boy — reported Wednesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 1 new case, 2 active, 2 active on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, no active hospitalizations, 802 total cases. It has had 7 deaths.

Fort Belknap — reported Wednesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 2 new cases, 2 active, no active hospitalizations, 513 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 12 active, 134 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, none active, 520 total cases, 7 deaths.
