Obituary - Jon J. Friberg, 1961-2021

Jon J. Friberg, farmer and life-long resident of Inverness, MT, died at Harborview Medical Center, in Seattle, WA, on July 29, 2021, at the age of 60.

      Cremation has taken place under the direction of Elemental Cremation and Burial in Bellevue, WA. No memorial services are planned. Jon’s remains will be buries at a later date in the Hill County Cemetery in Havre, MT, near his paternal grandfather, Victor Friberg and paternal uncle, Adolph Friberg.

Jon is survived by Greg (brother) and wife Kathy (Lyle) Friberg, of Vancouver, WA; Debbie Lineweaver (sister) and husband Ron of Joplin, MT; Curt Lineweaver (nephew) of Havre, MT; Whitni (Friberg) Jagod (niece) of Portland, OR; Kirsten Friberg (niece) of Vancouver, WA; Carmen (Friberg) Winkler (aunt) of Billings, MT; as well as cousins and great nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, Allan Friberg and Sandy (White) Friberg; Kevin Lineweaver (nephew), along with his grandparents.

Jon was born in Havre, MT on July 9, 1961, and passed away of natural caused on July 29, 2021. He was the third-born child of Allan and Sandy Friberg. Jon graduated from Rudyard High School in 1981. He attended Helena Vo-tech for one year before returning to the family farm, where he remained until his sudden passing.
