Obituary - Josephine Virginia Faltrino DonTigny

Josephine Virginia Faltrino DonTigny, 87, passed away August 6, 2021, in Bozeman, Mont.

She was born April 29, 1934, in Havre, Mont., to Joseph and Ida Faltrino. She graduated from St. Jude's and Havre High School, after which she worked for the Havre Daily News until her marriage to Richard DonTigny on June 15, 1957. They had an exemplary marriage for 64 years, filled with love and laughter. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband in their physical therapy office until their retirement in 1996. Her hobbies were fishing with her husband and flower gardening.

In 2011, Richard and Josephine relocated to Bozeman to be near family. They made many friends at The Springs Retirement Community who helped make Bozeman home.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; daughter Debbie (Tom) Gregory of Belgrade, MT; daughter Laura (Chris) Zimmerman of Bellevue, WA; son, Rick (Gina) DonTigny of Lolo, MT; daughter Julie DonTigny of Belgrade, MT; sisters Rita Taylor of Vancouver, WA, and Mary Lou Haugen of Havre, MT; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Louis Faltrino of Havre; and a sister, Rena Voss of Columbia Falls, MT.

Services will be held at The Springs Retirement Community at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 14.
