Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report made at 7:15 a.m. Monday that a casino had been broken into.

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller from Boulevard Avenue reported at 1:47 p.m. Monday that an aggressive tan and white dog was running loose.

Officers issued a written or verbal warning at 3:21 p.m. after a caller form 15th Street at 3:21 p.m. reported a child was in the trunk of a car.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Someone stopped at the sheriff's office Monday at 8:49 a.m. for assistance.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Monday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm on the 1300 Block of Jefferson Avenue Monday at 6:40 p.m. but found no smoke or flames. The alarm was reset and the fire crew cleared the scene.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 7-week-old kittens, three 13-week-old kittens, one 9-week-old kitten, three 16-week-old kittens and one 12-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, six female cats, one female 22-week-old kitten and three male cats. A male 13-week-old kitten and a male 14-week-old kitten were being held separately.

The shelter also held three female and two male 9-week-old puppies, a female 17-week-old puppy, a female Doberman pinscher dog, a male 11-month-old puppy, a male 8-month-old puppy and a male boxer.
