Montana State University Extension is inviting people to the next Small Business Webinar in the 2021 series

This month’s Small Business Webinar will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. 

This month’s featured speakers will be Missoula Small Business Development Center resional Director and Jennifer Stephens Great Falls SBDC Regional Director Jason Nitschke. They will be addressing “Financing and Grants” as a tool to help employers grow or start a business. 

The topics include the various ways to finance a business — aka equity and debt — including the actual — aka real — opportunities to secure public funds — aka grants — to help offset the costs of operating a business.

Stephens and Nitschke will discuss the realities of financing a business, the sources of capital, and have an honest discussion about the limited and specific sources of grant funding.

The webinar is free and open to the public.

The series allows people to hear experts provide an overview of Small Business Development topics and phone in or type chat questions or comments.
