Havre Police Department

Child and Family Services Cross filed a report Tuesday at 12:33 p.m.

Officers investigated a sexual or violent offender registry complaint made Tuesday at 2:06 p.m. at the police station.

Skylar Rae Welter of Havre, 24, was arrested on a state District Court warrant, a Justice or City court warrant and a pick up and hold order, after officers stopped to speak with a woman Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. on First Street.

Torie Juanita Teske of Havre, 43, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, after a caller on Second Street reported Tuesday at 7:33 p.m. that an intoxicated driver hit a sign.

Dawn Marie Turner of Havre, 45, was issued a summons on a charge of vicious dog after she and a second caller reported two dog bites Tuesday at 8:07 p.m. on Third Street.

A caller on Beaver Creek Boulevard reported their house had just been egged at 10:19 p.m. Tuesday.

--

At 11:40 p.m. Tuesday a caller reported a rattlesnake in the alley south of First Street, but it turned out to be a bull snake, so officers caught it and released it outside of city limits.

A caller at a First Street West business reported at 1 a.m. today that someone had stolen some beer.

After a caller on 15th Street West reported a big snake in the middle of the road at 1:57 a.m. today, officers identified it as a bull snake and shooed it back into the field. No indication was made whether this snake was related to the bull snake reported on earlier, or if these incidents constitute a pattern of misbehavior among the population.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Skylar Rae Welter of Havre, 24, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia during intake at Hill County Detention Center at 7:48 p.m. Tuesday for a police arrest.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Tuesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 5-week-old kittens, one cat, one 7-week-old kitten and one 10-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, six female cats and three male cats. A male and a female 21-week-old kittens, a male 11-week-old kitten and a male 13-week-old kitten were being held separately.

The shelter also held a male 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male and a female 11-month-old mixed-breed puppies, and a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy.
