MSU-N to host Frontier Preseason Volleyball Tournament
The Montana State University-Northern volleyball team will begin their 2021 season in August and officially open the regular season August 20 in Arizona. Northern's first official home match will be Sept. 17-18 when the Skylights host the first-ever Frontier Preseason Tournament inside the Armory Gymnasium. The 10-match Frontier Conference season starts Sept. 25. This will be the second season of Frontier volleyball in 2021. The postponed fall season of 2020 was moved to this past spring due to the pandemic.
In just two weeks, the Montana State University-Northern volleyball team, under veteran head coach Jerry Wagner, will start prepping for their second season of 2021. That's right, the Skylights get another chance this year due to COVID-19.
Northern played a Frontier Conference schedule this past spring, which made up for the canceled 2021 season last fall. That schedule was played with no fans and was a three-month whirlwind. Now, the Skylights and the rest of the Frontier will get back to a much-more normal schedule. MSU-N released its volleyball schedule not long ago.
