Drew Michael Bracken, age 40, passed away on June 29, 2021 in Coeur d' Alene, ID.
He was born in Shelby, MT, and lived there until the age of 10. He then moved to Havre, MT, until graduating high school.
Eventually he settled in Coeur d'Alene, ID, and started his career as an auto glass technician, Drew worked for several companies before starting his own business, Broken Auto Glass. His slogan was, "If your windshield is a crackin', better call Bracken."
Drew was known for his quirky and fun sense of humor. He loved making people laugh with his animated story telling, epic one-liners, and crazy outfits on the golf course. (aka The Banana Man.)
Drew lived life to the fullest. His generosity and kind heart, will never be forgotten by those who knew him. He loved to sing karaoke and sang with the band Strange Brew. He also loved to fish, camp, play darts and golf with his buddies. Drew loved little kids and they loved him because he was one of them only bigger.
Drew is survived by his mother, Marianne Hopkins (Darwin) of Rudyard, MT; his father, Michael Bracken (JoDee) of Shelby, MT; his sister, Cassie Machler (Wayne) of Post Falls, ID; step-sister, Dani Junso (Eric), also of Shelby, and the love of his life, Nikole Cummings of Coeur d' Alene, ID. Also, many more family members and friends who all loved him dearly.
A celebration of Drew's life will be held at the Real Life Ministries church in Post Falls, ID, on July 17,2021 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception at the Ponderosa Golf course in Coeur d'Alene, ID.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Drew Bracken Memorial Fund, 2710 East 12th Ave., Post Falls, ID 83854.
