Four basic elements
You know, Lord, several friends went walking one morning, through the nearby park, along some hills, loving and appreciating the view, enjoying their time together.
Gal #1: "I'm out of water, I'll soon need a drink. Are we about to the end of this trail?" The second gal mentioned that she was having a hard time breathing. Gal #3 mentioned a notice about the air quality being fairly good but the grass pollen was high; they were on a lot of grass, so, of course, breathing probably was a bit hard. They continued on their way; though they were in among a lot of trees, they noticed the light seemed to be dimming.
Oh! Look! Clouds are rolling in, maybe we're in for some rain!" The three of them giggled and hurried their pace. Gal #3 mentioned that she'd skipped breakfast; so, she was getting pretty hungry and was glad they were near the end of their walk.
All this reminded them about a message they'd heard about the very things they mentioned. "Do you remember the message from last Sunday?" They smiled. Gal #1 said, "I'll bet we're out here to recognize what Jesus was telling us about the four basic elements we need to survive."
Gal #1: "I recall line one: 'l am the living Water.' Gal #2 continued: "I'm having a hard time breathing, but I do remember that Jesus said, 'I am the Breath of Life!' How cool is that?" Gal #3 said, "Don't forget about me! Jesus also said, 'I am the Bread of Life.'"
"There was one more," said Gal #1; they mumbled a bit and then the sun peeked through the trees, the three of them laughed and together said, "Jesus also said, 'I am the Light of the World!' Pastor was accurate when he said. 'Science was right, we need Jesus to live.'"
