Quick pics: Emergency repairs on First Street

Montana Department of Transportation employees work Wednesday on the 1300 Block of First Street. MDT is making emergency repairs to the street, near the Best Western Plus Great Northern Inn. MDT Havre Superintendent Rob Gregory said the recent heave in the concrete there is possibly the result of the extreme heat that the area has been experiencing. He said traffic will be diverted around the spot for a few days, reducing westbound traffic to one lane, as concrete dries, which will likely last through the weekend.
