Deputies were called Friday at 3:59 p.m. to Kiehn's Bay on Fresno Reservoir by a caller stating that someone was firing shots at campers. The caller asked at 5:09 p.m. for extra patrols in the area.

Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Saturday, three Sunday, one Monday and one early this morning. Friday's call log had not been sent by print deadline today.

Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held three 2-week-old kittens and three cats all of unknown gender, three female cats and seven male cats. An 8-week-old kitten and a 9-week-old kitten both of unknown gender were being held separately.

The shelter also held a female 11-month-old mixed breed puppy, two male and a female mixed-breed dogs, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, an female 8-month-old mixed breed, a male and a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 3-month-old mixed breed puppy. a 6-month-old mixed-breed dog of unknown gender and a Chihuahua-Yorkshire Terrier cross dog.
Births
A boy was born Friday, July 2, 2021, to Sapphire Carter and Jessie Big Knife of Rocky Boy.
