Obituary - Jeremy C. 'JC' Ervin

Jeremy C. "JC" Ervin, 46, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of JC's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021, in the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Pastor Sean Janssen officiating.

JC's family has suggested memorial donations be made in his memory to 406 Pride, 310 N. 27th Street, Billings, MT 59101.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

JC was born on January 11, 1975, in Havre to Richard and Ruth (Tronet) Ervin. He was raised in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 1994, and went on to attend Montana State University-Northern, obtaining his master's degree in computer programming. He worked for a while in Havre for the Havre Public Schools, then moved to Helena to work for the Department of Justice. JC then moved to Seattle, where he lived for many years before returning to Havre in 2020, where he worked from home for the past year.

JC enjoyed anything related to computers, gaming, hiking, just being outdoors in the fresh air, time with his family and friends, and stargazing. He was a wonderful cook, and enjoyed sharing the fruits of that particular labor with his family and friends who were very appreciative.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ervin; grandparents, Benct and Ulla Tronet, Ray "Bud" Ervin, and Cora Solheim.

JC is survived by his father, Richard Ervin of Havre; sister, Stacey (Randy) Keller of Havre; nephews, Kyle, Kameron, and Kody Pribyl, and Lex (Megan) and Keavan Keller; niece, KortLynn Keller, and many, many wonderful friends.
