Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Friday at 10:16 a.m. to report a credit card theft.

Raymond Windyboy of Box Elder, 59, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on Fifth Avenue reported an intoxicated man walking eastbound Friday at 10:57 a.m.

Alpheus Edwin Jones III of Box Elder, 34, was issued a summons on a theft charge and later arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and shoplifting and on three Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a First Street business reported a theft Friday at 3:07 p.m., and a second caller at the business reported Jones had returned at 6:33 p.m.

James Murel Goldsmith Jr. of Havre, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after someone stopped at the police station Friday at 9:57 p.m. and asked to speak with an officer.

Officers investigated a First Street West business after a burglar alarm went off at 4:16 a.m. Saturday and officers saw that a window had been broken out.

A Second Street caller reported Saturday at 12:40 p.m. that a house may have been broken into during the night.

A 17-year-old Turner boy was issued a summons on charges of minor in possession and false ID by a minor after a caller at a First Street establishment reported Saturday at 3:03 p.m. that a juvenile was using a fake identification.

Skylar Rae Welter of Havre, 24, was arrested on an assault charge after a female caller on Third Avenue said Sunday at 1:25 p.m. that she was hit by another female and a second caller at 2:30 p.m. on 4th Avenue reported he may have seen a hit and run crash.

Officers investigated a dog bite reported on Third Street Sunday at 10:22 p.m.

Jacob Logan James Folk of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Street business reported that a man had come in and did some damage Sunday at 9:46 p.m.

Aryn K.C. Gardipee of Box Elder, 21, was arrested five Justice or City court warrants served on Second Street at 10:17 p.m.

--

Jacob James Lamere of Box Elder, 19, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a First Street establishment reported Sunday at 10:28 p.m. that a man had walked up to a car and offered to sell methamphetamine.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported from Bear Paw Lake Friday at 7:47 p.m.

Deputies investigated a complaint at a River Road North business Saturday at 9:28 a.m.

Timothy Shawn Anderson of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft Saturday at 11:02 a.m.

Tayla Wren Overlie of Havre, 32, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after a vehicle stop on Boulevard Avenue Sunday at 11:15 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to 10 calls Friday, two Saturday and three Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a Sunday 8:30 p.m. call about a vehicle fire on the 600 Block of 11th Street. The fire crew was notified en route that the fire had self-extinguished. The crew continued to the scene to investigate and only found two rags with oil on them that might have been the cause of the smoke.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one male and one female 10-week-old kittens, five female cats and three male cats.

The shelter also held a female mixed-breed dog, a male and a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppies and a male bearded collie-cocker spaniel cross.

Births

A boy was born Wednesday, June 9, 2021, to LaTasha Shortman and Nolan Snell of Havre.
