Havre Police Department

Tristian Garrett Whitetail of Havre, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and on charges of driving without a driver's license and driving without vehicle insurance after a vehicle stop on First Street at 2:04 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Lana Standing Chief of Havre, 40, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, resisting arrest and false reports to law enforcement authorities after a Wednesday 8:30 p.m. vehicle stop on First Street. The vehicle stop was prompted by reports at 8:21 and 8:23 p.m. from a Ninth Street East caller who said they were asked to call the police by a family member who claimed that someone was trying to get them.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday and two early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 9-week-old kittens of unknown gender, five female cats and three male cats.

The shelter also held one female and one male mixed-breed dog, a male St. Bernard-mix dog, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 10-month-old mixed breed puppy and a male bearded collie-cocker spaniel cross.

Births

A boy was born Monday, June 7, 2021, to Tamara Enemy Hunter and Mitchell Walls of Rocky Boy.

A girl was born Wednesday, June 9, 2021, to Raven and Jamie Jaynes of Malta.
