Havre Police Department

Margaret Delores Vij of Havre, 40, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and on charges of failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense, and driving without a driver's license, after a vehicle stop on Smithville Road Monday at 1:40 p.m.

Peter I. Smith of Havre, 37, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, partner or family member assault and assault with a weapon, after a Monday 2:19 p.m. caller reported a domestic disturbance on First Street Northeast and officers found a woman with bleeding wounds.

A Washington Avenue caller reported Monday at 4:38 p.m. finding a window was smashed out of a 72 Ford pickup truck.

Colton Tyrone Small of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, after police received a call from the 100 Block of Ninth Avenue at 1:49 this morning reporting suspicious activity.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft, forgery or fraud Monday at 4:38 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 9-week-old kittens of unknown gender, six female cats and three male cats.

The shelter also held a male St. Bernard-mix dog, a female mixed-breed dog, and a male and a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppies.
