David Patrick Keeley was born on February 26, 1949, in Havre to Mark and Virginia Keeley. He was the second-oldest of eight siblings. He graduated from Havre High School and went to work for the railroad as a machinist until retirement.
David was good-natured and had a great sense of humor, always a jokester. He was an avid sportsman; he hunted and fished the land surrounding Havre and the Hi-Line. He frequently went to the King's Hill area to snowmobile during winter.
He was very proud of his model aviation skills and had many airplanes that he built and flew just south of town. Building and flying these planes became a passion. He turned the garage into a hangar for his extensive collection that included planes from the birth of aviation to the fighters and bombers of World War II.
When he was not flying, David enjoyed the company of his family, friends and his beloved Boston terriers.
David was preceded in death by his parents and brother Mark.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sister, Carol (Ron) Beeler; brothers John (Terri), Thomas (Kathy), William (Ellie), Ricky and Terry (Gwen) Keeley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Thaddeus Church, Havre, or the charity of ones choice.
