Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Toby Niederegger, Chinook Track

It's been an outstanding school year for Chinook's Toby Niederegger. And he is capping it off by starring on the track. Niederegger won the high jump at both the District 9C Meet two weeks ago and the Northern C Divisional last Thursday in Great Falls. Niederegger, who also excels in football and basketball for the Sugarbeeters, has one of the top high jump marks in Class C this season. He'll compete at state this weekend.

Grace Crantz/Talia Ralph, Havre Tennis

Being a first-year doubles team certainly hasn't hindered Havre High's Grace Crantz and Talia Ralph. The Blue Pony tandem took second at last week's Northeast A Divisional Tennis Tournament in Lewistown, going 3-0 before losing a three-set heartbreaker to Glendive in the championship match. Crantz and Ralph are both multi-sport athletes at Havre High.
