Timber Creek Village held a ceremony Sunday to recognize all of the ladies for the many years of cookies, wiping tears and tending to the needs of children.
The celebration was held on Mother's Day. Each lady was given a rose and candy upon arrival, they all wore a special hat and were served cakes and ice cream floats.
Ceressa Waldrup, interim administrator, read a Mother's Day poem, reminiscing was done by all and the party ended with a statement by Fran Minnick, "A mother's job is never complete."
