Havre Police Department

A Monday 11:09 a.m. caller at the post office reported a fender bender.

Officers assisted Cascade County law enforcement after they called Monday at 11:27 a.m. for assistance looking for a runaway.

Anjelica Open Eyes Denny of Box Elder, 34, was arrested on charges of burglary to a residence, partner or family member assault, assault and criminal mischief vandalism and on two Justice or City court warrants after Denny called Monday at 12:45 p.m. asking for assistance for an assault on Second Street.

Three arrests were made after a caller in the Third Street alley reported Monday at 6:23 p.m. that five people were digging through the donations behind Salvation Army. No details on the charges were provided in the dispatch log, but James Christopher Dahl, who was named as one of the people who were involved, is listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on a Justice Court warrant, a District Court warrant and a charge of theft.

Carl Barnard of Havre, 42, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after officers investigated a domestic disturbance at a Montana State University-Northern residence at 12:32 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Amelia Fern Jensen of Havre, 28, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and on a Justice or City court warrant after deputies investigated suspicious activity at Second Avenue West and Second Street West at 1:17 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four 7-week-old kittens and two 5-week-old kittens of unknown gender, six female cats and two male cats.

The shelter also held a male St. Bernard-mix dog, two female mixed breed dogs, a female collie dog, a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 18-week-old mixed-breed puppy.
