State and local COVID-19 update, May 5, 2021

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 109,588 with 143 new cases, 1,055 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 61. The number of deaths was 1,580.

Blaine County Health Department reported Wednesday evening being notified of 2 new cases, 781 total, 24 active, 1 active hospitalization, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Wednesday evening that 3 new cases were reported with 1,976 total, 12 active, 1 active hospitalization, 24 deaths.

Rocky Boy has had no data reported since April 2. Its health department has said numbers will not be reported if no change occurs. April 2 it reported 794 total cases with 788 recoveries. It has had 6 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Wednesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 2 new cases, 451 total, 18 active, 1 active hospitalization, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 502 total, 3 active, 6 deaths.
