From Tee to Green
The month of April was about as below average as it gets from a weather standpoint. But it sure did go out on a high note.
Last week saw soaring temperatures and basically everything turning green overnight, and it was just in time for men’s league golf to start at both Prairie Farms Golf Course and Beaver Creek Golf Course.
Men’s league began last Tuesday night at Prairie Farms.
Wagner Plumbing took high-team honors for the first night of men’s league with 24 points. Jackson Boos was low gross, while low net went to Thomas Kline. On Wednesday night, Gallery Lounge earned high team with 23 points, while Kyle Miller was low gross and Ric Floren was low net.
Last Thursday night also saw men’s league begin at BCGC. No scores were reported from the first night of men’s league. Secretaries are reminded to send results to us no later than Sunday night before the next edition of from Tee to Green. Results can be sent to [email protected] and, or [email protected].
Speaking of golf competition, tournament season will begin soon. At Prairie Farms, the tournament schedule starts with the Golfing For a Cure June 5, then the NLASF June 12, followed by the Natalie Patrick June 19.
