State and local COVID-19 update, May 3, 2021

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 109,092 with 62 new cases, 1,112 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 59. The number of deaths was 1,575.

Blaine County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 751 total, 21 active, 24 deaths reported by its health department.

Hill County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 1,962 total, 10 active, and the county health department reported Friday 2 active hospitalizations and 44 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center has not reported any new data since April 2, having said previously it would not update numbers unless they change. April 2 it reported no new or active cases and no hospitalizations, 794 total cases with 788 recoveries. It has had 6 deaths.

Fort Belknap, reported last reported Friday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, listed 445 total cases, 15 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 499 total, 1 active, 6 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .
